BattleBots Season 1.0 tournament trees

The third BattleBots tournament began the partnership with the Comedy Central cable network that brought robot combat into millions of American homes. BattleBots season 1.0 was filmed June 9 - 11, 2000 at the Fort Mason armory in San Francisco, California (the site of the early Robot Wars events).

A "Giant Nut" trophy was awarded to the winners of each weight class tournament. Additional Giant Nuts were awarded to robots or drivers in these categories:
